What are the system requirements for the Sonic.net Accelerator?

The Sonic.net Accelerator requires Macintosh OS 10.2 - 10.4 with a functional dial-up connection and 128MB of RAM. Sonic.net recommends 256MB of RAM to ensure smooth operation if possible.

No. There are no plans currently to release a web acceleration product for older Macintosh systems.

How do I access the configuration?

Sonic.net Accelerator settings can be accessed by opening the Apple menu and selecting System Preferences. Settings can also be accessed on the upper-right portion of your screen, near the clock.

Does the Sonic.net Accelerator work with Safari, Camino, or Firefox?

Yes. Sonic.net Accelerator works with any web browser that allows for local web proxies. In your network preferences, set your HTTP proxy to "localhost" on port 8080.
